Business owners can save quite a bit of money if they are willing to go over their monthly telephone bill, and do a little online comparison shopping. Some businesses overspend on phone service when they don’t need to, and if their phone and internet service are paid automatically via debit card, credit card or automatic check withdrawal, they may never even look at their bills. There’s a reason that telephone and internet companies want you to pay via automatic debit, credit or ACH, and that’s because as long as you don’t see the bill, you don’t know what you’re spending. And that’s one of those, out of sight, out of mind, situations that can get a business in to trouble.

The first bill that you need to look at is your local phone provider’s bill. Do you use all of the lines coming into your office, and if so, how much are they costing you each month? Once you’ve counted all the local lines coming into your office, look at the bill and see which features each telephone line has, and then decide if they’re are worth what you’re paying for them. Business phone lines, with local service only, can cost up to $45 per line each and every month with some carriers, and if you’ve got lots of local business lines, they can really add up.

Once you’ve broken down the local phone service provider’s bill, look at your long distance bill and see if your long distance carrier is offering you a good deal on long distance service, or whether they are an expensive long distance carrier . Also, check the long distance bill to see if there are any calls outside the US or Canada. Different long distance companies charge different rates for domestic and international calls, so a $1.95 per minute call to Afghanistan with SBC may only cost $0.51 per minute with a discount company like Total Call International or Opex Communications.

Now that you know what you are being charged for local and long distance phone service, look at the rest of the taxes and fees you are paying for your local and long distance calls. In most US cities and towns, the taxes and fees on landline phone service are %25 to %30 of the total bill. So, if your phone bill was $100 for 2 or 3 local business lines, and $50 for domestic and international long distance calls, there might be an additional $40 to $50 in taxes and fees, for a total bill of around $200. Now let’s check out some broadband phone companies and see about lowering your business’s telecom costs.

Voice Over IP phone service requires high speed internet service, so there is going to be an additional charge for having high speed internet service coming into your office. If you don’t, high speed internet service in the 8 to 16MB range can be had for between $30 and $90 per month, with the average being somewhere around $60 per month.. That much bandwidth can run a lot of phones and a lot of computer apps, especially when you consider a T1 line has 23 channels, and that’s only 1.5MB of bandwidth. In my office, I run 2 internet phones and 3 computers, plus pipe in Pandora for office music, all with an 8MB plan from Charter. (It’s in my house, so I only pay $29.95 per month.)

Voice Over IP phone plans are cheap, coming in at between $19.95 and $79.95 per month, depending on what plan you get. Two of the VoIP phone service providers offering cheap VoIP calling plans are Lingo and Phonepower. Lingo has unlimited calling to the United States, Canada, and 45 other countries for $21.95 per month, while Phonepower has unlimited calling on 2 lines in the United States and Canada for $19.95 per month. Both VoIP calling plans come with a ton of free features like Caller ID, fax catcher and others, that would cost you extra from a landline phone company. and what’s really cool is that the taxes and fees on VoIP lines are less expensive than the PICC fees land-line carriers charge per business line.

If you check the price differences between landline phone service and VoIP phone service, VoIP phone service wins in most cases. You can get 3-4 VoIP phone lines from Phonepower for around $45 per month, including tax. Add to that the $60 for high speed internet service, and the total bill comes to around $105 instead of the $200 that landline service would cost you. And, if you figure in the fact that most businesses already have high speed internet service, the savings increase to around $155, instead of $95, per month. Any way that you look at it, VoIP phone service in this case is going to save your business $1100 to $1900 per year over what you would pay for 2 or 3 landlines plus long distance service, plus taxes and fees.

For more information on saving your business money, visit calling-plans.com and use their land-line, VoIP phone service, and wireless phone rate calculators to compare cheap home phone service. I know that my small business can’t afford to give away $1500+ per year to the phone companies; Can Yours?

Should you be running a organization, you are well conscious of your personal equipment requirements as well as everything that it will take to control a successful business office these days. Obviously any kind of business office will be filled with the typical personal computers, telephone equipment and high quality models including the Brother HL 7050N or something along comparable lines as this. Here, we’re exclusively going to speak about some of the elements that you need to look for when researching an average office printer to meet the requirements of a fast paced small business atmosphere.

To begin with, you might want to take into account whether or not you would like a single performance printer or an all-in-one printer. Take into consideration your needs as related to printing, copying, and faxing. There could be great factors to buy these devices independently, but these days you certainly can discover very inexpensive printers which perform these types of capabilities and then some. There are printers which have the ability to read and print from scan cards that go straight into your digital camera for example, in order to print photos soon after taking them. A lot of all-in-one printers also incorporate an email functionality which may be excellent for sending documents to someone who does not have an authentic fax machine.

After that you should look at your own genuine printing needs for the business office. If you may be doing a lot of printing you’ll want to consider the paper volume along with the maximum monthly duty cycle. The Brother 7050N, as an example, features a 500 sheet input capacity which will be quite regular in an business office printer. In general, you will end up best served should you choose a printer with an input capacity that may have you adding paper no more than once a week to assist with efficiency round the business office.

The printer’s maximum monthly duty cycle quantity will show you the number of pages that may be printed monthly without damaging the printer. If your printer you are considering does not give you a particular quantity for this recommendation, one of the ways it is possible to determine this approximately is to pick a printer with a maximum duty cycle that is a minimum of three times that of the number of pages you anticipate to produce approximately monthly.

Another thing to take into account is whether or not you require a printer which prints in color or just grayscale. Should you be mostly printing text docs and these usually do not have visuals or the need for color, you’ll probably do far better buy a top quality monochrome type printer. If you want to produce visuals though, an excellent color printer can offer really professional looking work as well.

Regardless of whether you select the HL 7050N, or another high quality business printer, do take the time to research your choices on the net. Brother happens to be a well recognized and quality brand name in terms of printers, however there are others which you might like to explore. It’s well worth it to read several buyer critiques and even enter an company supply retailer to speak to a salesman about the pro and cons of a distinct machine before you make your final decision and purchase.

The internet and technology have become so advanced that now even a reverse cellphone number lookup is possible- and simple. Since telephone companies predominantly store the information of their customers in databases, searching through this information by way of database search programs is really easy. There has never been a cell phone book with reverse phone listings, but this is the next best thing. This is actually better since it is quick and inexpensive.

If there has ever been a mystery number you have wanted to know more about this is certainly a service that can benefit you. Perhaps you have been on the receiving end of harassing calls. Maybe your girlfriend or boyfriend’s cell phone is suspiciously harboring an unfamiliar number. Whatever the case, now you can quickly put a name with that number.

The service, however, is not free. The companies that provide you with the information for the cell phone number in question purchase that information from the telephone companies themselves. The better providers will work with more than one telephone company for a more complete database. The secondary reason you will be charged for the service is for the purposes of protection. The person whose information you obtain is less likely to be stalked or harassed if there is a paper trail linking that information back to you.

When comparing the different providers of cell phone number reverse lookup services, keep in mind a few things. The information a provider has should be as current as possible. It does not make any sense to go through the process of hunting down (and paying for) the name of a cell phone number that is actually no longer associated with that number. Also, the price should be comparable with that of other competitors. This is not an extremely expensive service.

When doing a reverse cell phone number search, you can expect a name to go along with the number (hopefully a current name). Additionally, some companies will give you the name of the telephone company, the person’s address, and even other numbers they use (this can be especially useful for avoiding telemarketing companies).

If you are in search of a cellphone number lookup company that provides a cheap and easy way to search reverse phone listings, with just a little bit of research to select a quality provider, this is very attainable. A cell phone number reverse lookup service can be useful for many different reasons and with all the technology that today’s world currently offers, it is also as easy as can be.
